Beautify your yard or garden with these unique, and easy to build multi purpose yard and garden displays. Use as a bird feeder. In the Spring you can use the supplied bird house panels and entice some nesters. In the Summer you may wish to frost the acrylic panels (we will show you how) and create a lamp for area lighting. You can even remove the interior panels altogether and enjoy having a lighted flower planter!
These kits require only a screwdriver, some adhesive tape, and a couple hours of your hobby time to complete.

Two hours average assembly time.
Includes a mount for a standard 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" post which allows the entire assembly to be simply lifted off for easy cleaning and configuration changes.
5/8" exterior grade plywood bases provide many years of stability and warp prevention.
All parts are precut. Materials include solid western cedar, fir, exterior plywood, textured exterior paneling, and acrylic panels. No further cutting is required.
Paint to match your home or keep natural looking with readily available transparent and semi transparent wood weather protection coatings.

The bird feeder and lighting configurations use the supplied acrylic panels.
The bird house configuration uses the included plywood bird house panels. As an added feature, the bird house configuration uses a two-top system which allows you quietly sneak a peek inside to see what's going on!
Add 3" potted plants inside the base assembly to add beauty and color.
Each kit includes a light fixture inside the roof assembly for various lighting possibilities.
The feed tray is fully enclosed to minimize seed spillage.
The separate roof assembly lifts off for easy seed refilling, configuration changes, and cleaning. There is also a roof tie down system to prevent the roof from ever blowing off.
Important: These kits do not include paint, weather protection coatings, or mounting post. We offer 8oz bottles of cedar-tinted weatherproofing at $4 each for use on the Rutherford and Deckmate cedar kits. The main pictures above show what the application looks like on completed assemblies. 8oz is good for at least two applications. That's protection for up to four years! Since the Victorian has pre-primed exterior roof panels and exterior birch plywood for the walls and cornices, we recommend using a primer and exterior top coats. Rust-Oleum offers wonderful and easy to apply spray products.
